About my passion..
Making people feel beautiful has always been my passion. I remember when I was 5, I started my career working with Barbie by shampooing and cutting her hair. Years later, I’d enjoy playing beauty shop all day with my friends and family. After graduating from high school, I went straight to college and quickly realized that it was not for me at that time, so I decided to go to cosmetology school to pursue what I really wanted to do….Help people feel good about themselves by making them feel beautiful.
Education has always been very important to me and to my family, and after years of success as a stylist, accompanied by its amazingly flexible schedule, I was finally afforded the possibility of a Texas State University education. I am proud to now hold Double Majors with a B.A. in Business Administration and Spanish. With hard work and dedication I have shown my two wonderful daughters, age 9 and 11, how education is very important as a foundation for success.
Having such a flexible schedule would be rather difficult in the corporate world, and so I happily returned to my career of choice; this time, armed with the education and experience to make it my own. I love making people feel beautiful, and love my flexible schedule that allows me to help out at home, my daughters shool, and enroll my girls in different activities during the week like piano, dance, soccer and swimming. What else can I say…. I love my job.
I’ve been licensed for 20 years, and have worked at JC Penny, ULTA Beauty Store Salon, the Beauty Store Salon and Spa and now run my own business out of my Salon Suites, The Organic Color Salon, Suite #503 in Sunset Valley, TX enjoying an excellent line of organic color products.
