What is Microdermabrasion? Microdermabrasion uses an adjustable applicator head that removes dead surface skin cells and initiates cellular turnover at the dermis and epidermis levels in a safe controlled manner. This approach respects the integrity of the skin and promotes even healing. Maintaining even cellular growth on the surface aids in the youthfulness of the skin’s appearance. Microdermabrasion has been used to treat aging and sun-damaged skin, some types of acne and acne scarring, altered pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and stretch marks. Results may include improved skin tone, fewer breakouts, diminished appearance of scars, even skin color, refined skin pores, renewed elasticity, and a healthy glow.
Microdermabrasion Facial - 60 min
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that minimizes wrinkles, scars, sun damage, age spots and smooths overall texture with a diamond tip tool. This service provides you with deep exfoliation that’s pain free and doesn’t require any downtime or recovery period. It is recommended to alternate with chemical peels for optimal results.
3 series / $395 (save $25) - 6 series / $765 (save $75)
Prior to your first microdermabrasion, as your esthetician, I will perform a thorough skin analysis. If microdermabrasion is not appropriate, you are informed during this session and an alternative treatment may be recommended instead. If microdermabrasion is for you, maximum results are obtained by participating in a series of treatments plus following a home care regimen.
As your esthetician, I take every precaution to ensure that your skin is well hydrated and calm prior to leaving each session. However, you may experience excessive dryness or even some peeling between sessions, which may or may not be normal. Always check with me if you have any concerns after the treatment. More sensitive skin may experience some redness after the first couple of sessions. This normally goes away after 2 to 3 hours.
After your treatment, sunblock must be worn at all times and tanning beds should never be used. You are making an investment in your face: therefore, it is to your benefit to continue to protect it long after your series is completed.

Scheduling is by appointment only. To ensure your preferred time, please book in advance. Walk-ins are not permitted.
Early Arrival:
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early for massage and foot zone treatments and 15-20 minutes early for skin care services. This allows time to complete or update any necessary paperwork.
Cancellation Policy:
At Advanced Wellness your appointment is very important to me. I understand that from time-to-time appointments may need to be rescheduled or cancelled. In consideration of my time and for my other clients, please notify me of a minimum of 24 hours in advance to avoid a 50% charge.
Lateness:
Please be on time for your appointment. Should you arrive late for your service, you will be deprived of valuable treatment time and the full cost of the service will still apply. I will wait 15 minutes (and try to reach you) before I consider you a no-show (see below).
No-Shows:
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a no-show. You will incur 100% charge for all reserved services and future service will be denied until payment is made. If I fail to show up for a scheduled appointment, I will credit the full appointment fee towards your next appointment.
Payment:
Payment is due when services are rendered. Cash, checks, credit/debit cards with an additional 2.5% service fee and gift certificates are accepted forms of payment.
Gratuity:
Showing your appreciation for the quality of the services provided customarily averages between 15-25% of the treatment price, but I always respect your tipping decisions. You may tip by credit card, check, or cash. Gift certificates do not include a gratuity unless otherwise specified.
